Thank You and Press On

 Howdy all,

Welcome to my Tuesday Talk blog post.

I wanted to send out thank you cards to some of my participants and customers who have stood by me this last year. This year has been one like no other and one I think most of us would rather forget. For my little business and myself the challenges of 2020 were beyond imagination, and through out all this my little business has thrived thanks to the understanding and resilience of my participants and customers. I don't think anything could truly express the thanks I feel, but in true Art For The Mind style I thought it best done in a card.

These cards are me all over, lots of Early Espresso, geometric patterns, takeaway coffee cup stamps, dimensionals, copper and even a coffee stain.

The Press On stamp set features a range of coffee cup designs and perky sentiments 😉. Even the cute love heart is part of the 12 stamp set.

Never under estimate the reverse side of a Designer Series Paper Pack, I loved the Guilded Autum Speciality Paper's fronts with the lovely colours and foils, but being in Australia it was a bit limiting as it's not Autumn here. But the reverse still features the colours with lots of lovely geometric and textured designs with a few that reminded me instantly of coffee. Or that could be because I always have coffee on the mind.

Both the Gilded Autumn paper and the Press On stamp set are retiring soon and is now ON SALE as part of the Giant Year-End Closeout and already in limited stock left. To see what other great items are retiring and on sale click the picture below.

This card is heavy on the Early Espresso brown, so I paired it with the warmth of Very Vanilla cardstock, some Copper Foil and some brown sequins. Now I'm sure you're wondering where I managed to find brown sequins, well if your really selective you can find them in the autumn range of the Sequins For Everything pack. Good news too is that these sequins are carrying over to another catalogue!

My favourite part of these cards is actually the coffee cup stain, I did this by using the Early Espresso ReInker onto a large E Clear Block with a spritz of water so it was quite liquid. Then I dipped the rim of a plastic cup in it and placed onto the card. I moved it so it ran a little and smudged a bit to look a tad more realistic. I loved how it turned out.

Thanks for coming over and having a look, I hope you feel inspired to create your own cards and projects, please see below for a link to products used to make the above card.
